    Hi
Please ID these 2 things growing on my starpolop.

The one on the left hates lights and even a flash of the camera sent it back into the rock.

I spotted this after I moved the coral. It was growing onto another rock so I decided to move it and let it spread... Then I saw this...

    I'm clueless - pleez help.

    Thanks

I cant make out the one on the left but the right one looks like a sponge. The left one if it has tentacles could be a jewel anemone. Both are non photosynthetic

Yip agree, look like jewel and sponge.

Juwel like slow quite spots, and do not require light. If you want him to move, just point some extra flow onto him. He will move out of the way to another spot where he wil not bother the coral. Do not blow him with 5000L/h. He is small, be qentle...

Agreed, The sponge may not look super attractive but is a filter feeder. In my mind, the more the merrier. just as long as its not aptasia. If the sponge starts to get too invasive its quite easily removed with damage to the Star polyp

    More hitch-hickers - Shweet!

Toni / RiaanP, thanks for the feedback! I'll do some research on the fewel anemony cos I like to know as much as possible of things growing & living in my tank...

RiaanP, I think I'll leave him to decide where he want to sit, cos I've spotted him previously just below the little sponge. But, like I said, hates lights...
