    Just make sure it doesn't go sexual(release tiny spores which then grow in your dt)
    The bubble caulerpa gies sexual far more quickly than the fern type. To stop them from going sexual you can keep the light on 24/7 or keep it well pruned.

    It's in a basket with some normal macro algae.
    I'd get rid of it when and if I get more normal macro

    Should I just pull it out the sump and let the cheato have the basket to its self

    I found caulerpa to be much more efficient at exporting nutrients than chaeto. If you keep it trimmed it most likely won't go sexual. Even if it does it's not exactly a train smash.

    If you got tangs of foxfaces, then feed them the caulerpa you harvest. Mine loves it.

    Caulerpa can grow those roots into that rock you got there. From then its very difficult to get it out. It is a much faster grower than cheato. The Fern type is a lot more safe than the bubble type as far as going sexual. But the bubble type grows the fastest but can crash out easily.
