    Hello!!

Things are going along nicely in the tank, but have noticed the sudden appearance of strange white pom-poms... Does anyone know what they are??

Should I be concerned about the attack of the killer pom-poms??

Help with an ID please!! :)

    Thanks,

    Christy

It looks like some type of tunicate.

Is there a Hole in the middle or is it like a ball?

I agree, little tunicates and/or sea squirts. Can't remember the exact name/species :p
You get different ones, but those are common and good filter feeders. They grow in the lower flow areas, like the sump and under rocks, etc

I've also heard them referred to as Pineapple or Qtip Sponges

Love the way the pics are annotated. Makes things so much easier to understand.

How about an updated full tank shot?
