iv got a tank thats been running for about 2 months, livestock is one baby zebra lionfish, live rock and a few leather corals.
My lionfish which will be moved to a much larger tank in a few months has 1 or 2 tiny white dots on its tail and i dont knw whether its ich or not, there are no signs ( from what ive read include, rapid breathing, loss of appetite, akward swimming or brushing the tank or substrate).
my question is if i removed the leather corals (to my other tank) could i use copper based treatment in the tank with the fish and live rock ( iv also read that lionfish can be quite sensitive to copper) or not?

i would think i probly couldnt because once i return the corals the copper mite still be present in small traces, but what would you suggest i do because i dont have access to a quarantine tank.
    thanks
