I went on a shopping spree today spending money I don't have but what the hell.

I got my self two T5's and a electronic balast, I think they saw me coming with the balast, They charged me R315 for a dual electronic balast,

I will upload some photo later I need to resize them.

I had a look at the water proof end caps but at R45 for one it is a bit steep for a budget reefer, so I had to do another DIY,

SO I started wiring them up, what a mission if you only have 1m of solid core wire

So I came up with another plan had a look in the garage for a piece of chip board, so yet another DIY

I drilled some holes 4 screws later and we have a platform on top of my DIY light stand.

My multi plug is in, excuse the cable ties, they just work quite easy for my

Plugs connected, with this I have shortened the wires from the balast to the MH with about 1.5m, they are now under 500mm

Looking good there psycho, that's a hectic looking lighting rack. You've got the awesome globes, now all they are missing is REFLECTORS. Nothing wrong with cable ties, I use them when I'm being slightly less ghetto than sticky tape
