Hey guys, I am posting a lot on this today,

Added more live rock and I have just noticed this on rock.

What is it and is it reef safe?( I am sure it is) and. How do I look after it so it does not die. [IMG]

They are fine but can start to grow like wildfire then can smother your corals ... They excellent in helping keep water clean and sparkly .... Just watchout if they start to grow out of control ....

Manually remove them and keep them in the sump or find a natural predator like a butterfly to munch them but he might start liking your corals as well ....

They are beneficial , filter feeders will keep water and Params in check by using the excess nutrients and food.
They shouldn't get to plague proportions if you have good husbandry

Feather duster. Very beneficial , had one for almost 2 years and was great! Recently got a copperband though so...no more feather duster for me:(
