Found a few of these in my system this morning. Any ideas on what they could be. Nothing new added to my system in last three weeks. Full moon related?

Your album is probably set to private so only you (and the mods) will be able to see the pics.
You need to go back to your album and edit the settings (change it to public).

yeap, thats jellyfish ephyrae. Jelly polyps are usually triggered to strobilate(release ephyrae) when the temp suddenly drops and comes back to normal.

Can't say 100% what species but its a 70% chance its compass jelly(chrysaora sp).
Feed it baby brine and watch it grow

    Interesting..
Made some changes to my system and temp dropped from 26 to 24 and settled at 25 now. Would such a small changed have done the trick?

Could the polyps have come on some corals I bought about a months or so ago?

    That's super cool,
Your baby jellies are alot bigger than what mine were...
Think it was a different species tho.

@BParker Not your LR, probably the NSW :) if it's surviving then it definitely not a compass jelly! cold water for them
@KSreefster it all depends on the species but most ephyrae like moon jelly ephyrae eat like pigs on brineshrimp, so zooplankton and small goggas.

Some ephyrae only eat other jellyfish and jellyfish ephyrae though......like comb jellies

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, my quarantine tank is in use and so no way of raising the jellies. Perhaps "next time"? :(
