My hydnopora frag got knocked against the side of the glass by one of my tanks inhabitants (probably urchin). Last nite, i was surprised to see its sweeper tentacles spread out across the glass. kinda looks like its attacking its reflection, altho im guessing its just the glass its unhappy with.
Excuse the pic, cell with blue lights

The only thing that comes to mind is it is 'defending' itself. Hydno's are very aggressive corals, and usually sting and kill anything that touches it. So it probably is reacting the same way towards the glass. Stick this coral down properly and dont keep any other corals close by.
PS. It is a SPS not LPS ;)
