just wanted to share with you guys how we do water changes.we have a 1000L flow bin a 300w inverter and a nice pump wich pumps 800L of water in just under 30min.leslie hempel justin mace and myself do a 200L water change once a month and it basicly takes us a a morning or a afternoon for the three of us to do a water change.

    here are some picks.

    the pump.

    Two comments.
One day the gold tin is going to be blamed for the flat battery and panic in towing the Toyota out as the tide comes in.:whistling:

Hope it is legal to drive a bakkie on the beach. If not i assume those ID plates are the false ones.;)

    Looks like fun anyway.

Clinton posting this is just wrong for us Gauteng guys.

Firstly you have an awesome view when getting ready for WC
Secondly you are getting it for FREE
Thirdly no other / better half moaning about the water on the tiles / carpet etc
Last but not least...you can enjoy all this with a :peroni: in the hand... for being so organised

haha! les loves his beer man! and it just wouldnt be the same without a couple cold ones:razz: you must let me know when you ready to fill your new tank up...im shure we can make a plan;)

hope my cheque is in the post for the modeling :) its an awsome river mouth that gets so loose with fish in the season.. moorish, anthias, gem's yuo name it get caught here.. its also an awsome surfspot just jump off the slipway and float out the channel right into the waves that form the most perfect tubes when the bank is right after a rain.

That 800L/h pump will drain the bakkie battery...

You should use a 400L/h, then it will take an hour to fill and leave enough time for another Castle... Is that not better?
