how to treat sick mimic tang

    Hi

    My nennie died and now some of my fish are sick...especially the Mimic..It has got a white layer over its whole body and cloudy eyes. Its also not eating and is very thin...HELP!!!!!!!!!:eek:! what should i treat it with:(

    I take it you have removed the nennie ?

    Start with water changes as nennies release toxins into the water. Also set your skimmer to skim as wet as possible.

    Adding carbon will also assist

    after that, get some microbelfit herbtana and artemiss and treat as per directions

    i added all those things and bought herbatania today..Yes i removed the nennie...lol..whats ur opinion on copper treatment? should I try it and treat the mimic separately...

    no need for copper, those work great, give it 5 days to start

    also..ive been using stability since sunday...should i stop that when i use the herbatania or just continue with it?

    anytime, words of caution
    they make your skimmer go mad, so i turned mine off for 2 hours and then kept an eye on it

    @Reef-O ..... Jus be carefull of ur leathers, they get very badly affected by the toxins, specially that beautifull big 1... My tanks open for holding,jus a word of caution, I have lotsa rock so it might get attached :eek: ........
