How TO seal a Drilled Hole?

    How TO seal a Drilled Hole?
    I need to seal a Drilled hole in my Sump. its 50mm.

    Plate of glass covering with silicone?

    Or a Bulkhead?

    Please advise

    I'd also say that... It's the easiest and cheapest way.

    You could possibly use a ceramic floor tile.

    Go to PG glass and just ask them if they have an off cut roughly the size you need, and they should give it to you if it's a small enough piece.

    Or break off the bottom of a beer bottle :)

    An EMPTY beer bottle. The poor beer doesn't deserve to be spilled...

    Think its best i just go get an offcut.
    As i have nothing of use here at home.
    Only large sheets of glass which is useless lol :)

    Thank guys. i will plug it up tomorrow and post some pics of my progress..

    1000L total, taking alot of effort just to get started :)

    If all esle fails, raid the wife's dressing table, you'd be surprised what goodies they have that we can use, stockings, mirrors, tweezers - all good reefing tools. :p
