You could try Tropic Marin tripple-buffer to increase the KH.

Ca is obviously too high, also check ur MG, without correct MG levels KH & CA will be hard to keep stable.

I seem to be endlessly trying to get my KH to stay above 6

TM triple buffer is a balanced buffer and will increase all three (triple buffer). The balance is out and KH only needs to be increased.

Bicarb, which is baking soda. 3gram per 100litre watervolume will raise KH by 1 degree.
Raise only 1 degree per day.

Seachem also makes a product called reef buffer but as a quick solution use bicarb.

Just to clarify, you test is in degrees hardness or meq?

Increase your KH slowly by 1 degree over a period of days till your KH is at about 8. You dont want to shock your system with the sudden increase. Let us know what supplement you are going to use along with your current KH and water volume and we can work out a daily dosage

Do you feed your tubeworn with a planctonic supplement? Is it a calcerous tubeworn with a white hard base ot the soft drab looking soft base. If it's the first time the crown has come off it may regrow. They do this when they are not fed

13g per day will increase you KH by about 1 point. Dripping the bicarb is fine and just repeat this till your KH is where you want it

@ Tony, so the recomended is 8? Just a question, Why`s my calcium and magnesium always so high when I test? Dont have a test kit for Mag. But I test @ Die Visdam and its always high and my calcium was above 500 last night when I did the test...

There is no recommended KH but 8 is a middle of the road level and allows for some erros without harming your corals. Some guys want their KH as close to sea water (6.8 - 7.2) some guys like their high at 11. Which ever you choose keep it above 7 and stable.

Before trying to figure out your high calcium and mag what do you use to dose these two parameters, how do you dose these products, do you dose them at the same time, how do you determine your dosage?

Also make sure that your test kits are not expired, sometimes we miss that. If a shop is testing your water, ask them to show you the kits and check the date. Pointless (and dangerous) to try and correct something if the kits are inaccurate - if that is the case :)

If you dont dose anything I cant understand the high results. Can you get a second opinion with the tests? You parameters should be reducing not increasing like your KH.

Do you have any LPS or SPS corals?
