Mine isn't fixed to a rock at all so I don't have experience with that but I wouldn't think it would be that hard. How solid is it attached and where do you want to put it?
    Pics would help.

I might be able to put pictures on later 2night.

I bought the kenya tree a week or so ago but it came attached to a small piece of rock, If i place it on other rocks it keep falling off(hermit crab) would like to plant it on the large rock. The tank is very small so there isnt alot of room(cant stick it between rocks) or can i just place it in the sand?

How much do you know about them?
Do you know you have to feed it because its non-photosynthetic?
It likes quite alot of flow but not directly at it and it doesn't matter what light you have you can even put it in the shade.

What I do when my trees grow to big is I cut their arms with a scissors and use a bit of cotton and string the branches around pieces of Live rock, within 2 days the area that was cut heals, and in a week or 2 it sprouts again in the same area!
The piece that I attach with cotton opens up next day... done this a lot now, so all my mates have frags of tree corals!

my tree is about 15cm long( when its happy). Yes it is embedded in a small piece of rock so i though maybe just bury it in the sand, im scared to cut it of the existing piece of rock. Dont know much about kenya trees as im new to the the whole marine setup. What do you have to feed them??? mine seems to be doing just fine and havnt fed it anything since i got it about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for all te replies, really helps!!!
