Turbinaria are easy to frag, basically cut a section all the way around the coral. You can use an electric saw or router.

Cynarina is not a good coral for propagation.

Just say no to the donut/meat coral. Not a good choice to frag.

As for the pagoda/cup coral, just use a rotary tool (Dremel) with a diamond blade (if you can). Just cut the outer edges first and work the circumference.

    Hi Jaak,
Please could I ask you to forward those articles to me as well as my wife would like to start experimenting. I have set up my previous tank for her to use. She's doing research on the net on propogation, but am sure she could do with more info.

Use a Dremmel to cut it. Then place the coral (both pieces) in a light iodine / RO water solution for a minute or two..... (the RO water must be the same temp and pH of the tank water).

Then the coral should be 100% fine afterwards! Good luck mate!
