Blue treasure sps salt is a 20kg bucket, and makes roughly 570lts of saltwater. Very good quality vfor the price. I paid R760 for my bucket of salt. It depends on what brand you buy.

There are different brands of salt for different applications. Some got more of this or that and are better for full on overloaded SPS systems. Softy tanks can get away with "lower" grade salt as it got more than enough for what is needed by softies. Plus its cheaper. Fish only systems do not need that premium priced salt neither does fish holding tanks. SPS and LPS needs salt that is marketed as coral "PRO" for example. Also the price of the salt should match your pocket depth.

I'm using Aquamedic salt for years. For me a good salt at a relatively acceptable price. Note that I have a softy dominated system.

So the real question back to yourself, what corals do you have? That could determine what you need in regards to quality and price.
