I assume there are best before dates, but surely that is relating to a before open date ?

The Woolies Nori does not have a best before or expiry, so I would assume that you can keep it indefinitely. Just keep it dry and in a cool place. I just leave mine in a kitchen cupboard.

Last lot of nori I had was about 5 years old and had been lying in my cupboard from my first attempt at making sushi. It was still perfectly fine.

As long as it is kept refridgerated in an airv tight container it will be fine for 2-3 weeks.

Do you buy the nori from the LFS or do you get the sushi nori from the supermarket?

Wee Man, 2-3 weeks is waaaay to short a period once opened.

The nori bone dry and roasted so will last a lot longer if kept dry. I would treat it the same way as you would pasta or rice

Ok, as long as it is stored properly, but all veggies will lose their goodness quickly regardless of how well kept.

A Beautiful place!
I also store mine like "rice or spaggetti". It has been open now for more than a year in a container outside the fridge and I still put a piece in my tank everyday, the fish chows it eagerly and none has died or got sick. Hope there's no long term effects....
