hi guys, i posted a thread a few weeks ago about spagetti worms ... and every one said they are good guys.

well, my tank is going more and more back wards, and i dont know what any more.

question, i saw a long, legged insect or something, almost like a small 'oorkruiper' ... are they good or bad ?

    :(

    Sounds like a bristle worm
Redish with white plums down its sides.

under 10cm, they are good guys. Excelent part of your clean up crew.

Warning, do not touch them, those white plumes are like prickley pear thorns. Extremly small, and it burns...

Zerocool, I've been thinking about what could be wrong with your tank and I really am stumped, just a few questions that might help out:
    1. Did you check your return pump shaft because the boyu comes standard with a metal shaft pump.
    2. Where do you get your RO water from and have you checked te TDS?
    3. What salt brand are you using?
    4. What is your salinity and how are you checking this?

hi Manic, thanks for your input, i appreciate it alot !

    answers to your questions ....

1)no yet, but i dont think it is that, the flow is quite strong, but will check it.
2)the last water i bought was from lanzo, a salt mix, and i did a hudge change, but that wasnt the issue.
3)i bought a bucket of red sea marine salt, but for the last few weeks, never been using it, i just buy ready mixed stuff (from lanzo).
4)i check it weekly, but will check it today again, it is at 1.026 ... (which is right).

i still havent replaced the globes, and that might be it ...

This might be your problem. I've got three cheap ones like that. My tank water is at 1.026 and those things show 1.019, 1.017, 1.020. When I did use them and they said 1.026 my salinity was actually above 1.030. Have you tested lanzo's salinity when you bought the salt water, because that would be at the right salinity
