If you use the 37mm hole saw then the 40mm pipe wont fit. You need the 40mm.

    First, get the bulkhead fitting.
Then use that to get the correct hole size.

GW Industries in Pinetown (8 Moss Road, Westmead) has the whole range of uPVC fittings and pipes. They manufacture so im sure its cheaper (havent compared prices).

Many options available , tank connector or polyprop threaded sleeve or uPVC.

Torq Craft carries Diamond core bits from 3,4,5,6,8,10,12,14,16,19,20,22,25,30,32,38,40 and 50mm

Builders Express only carries a few of these sizes above, on enquiring they cannot order a size they dont keep.

I know a Hardware Store that carries there range and is able to order the size if needed.

Does any one know of other brands of Diamond core bits in a wider range of sizes and where available in Durban.

Best to get the bulk head first and measure the diameter at the thread. For example a bulk head for a 20mm pipe has a thread diameter of 22mm, so you need a 22mm hole saw. A 50mm bulk head has a thread diameter of 50mm, so you use a 50mm hole saw.

That's why I say you need to get the bulk head first.
