    Hi everyone.

I have never built a marine tank b4.
I have played around with tropical tanks but they only go so far.

So I have embarked on a virgin voyage of building a marine tank.

I am very exited about it and I think it will be rather interresting as I know zip about marine tanks, fish or corals.

Its totally new to me. :)

But we aint afraid of no crocodile :D

hello Tvoid, welcome to MASA :)

its always great starting off on your first tank and there is so much planning that needs to be done. the best way to go about it is to decide on the size of tank that you want, which is often detirmined by either what you would like to keep (some fish need large swimming space, some corals need intence lighting etc etc) or on the space available. From there let us know your plans and the guys and girls on masa will help you decide which will be the best rout to go to save money and what is best for the tanks inhabitance :) Masa has a fantastic brains trust of experienced reefers and we will do all we can to help you achive a fantastic marine aquarium:)

but there really is alot to learn. Bathwater is very easy in comparisson and the unforgiving manner of mother nature when you get things wrong in marines can be very brutal at times :( so take it slow, read lots and plan lots, masa will be behind you the whole way:)

    welcome and happy postings :)
