Hi all.

I'm new to the marine world and have just set up a Juwel 240l tank. Been cycling for 8 weeks now with live rock 20kg and a phosphate reactor.
Just added the usual beginners clowns x 2 and they seem happy:thumbup:

It's great to see a marine forum from SA and it has been making me homesick reading all your posts. I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you though.

I lived in the uk for 12 years and did my a levels and gcse's in ipswich, do you guys get many marine shipments?? i never owned fish when i was there
 
Welcome Tim, the UK has been rather warm lately, need to enjoy it while it lasts. ;)

Have you just recently moved from SA to England?

@ deadmeat2016 - Ipswich is not too far from me. You'd be amazed at the amount of marine specialist shops around here now. For some reason though, there seem to be more reef keepers up north than down in the south east.

@ Viper357 - I've been here for 8 years now. Used to live in Randpark Ridge in Randburg. It was very hot here last weekend - 26 degrees. Felt like I was back in Joburg. Freezing again this weekend of course

@ Tobes - Will get some pics up as soon as the tank looks good. At the mo it's pretty boring as it's so new.

Anyways, thanks for all the welcomes. I'm of to watch a program on SA and the world cup on BBC now to make me even more homesick.
