Hello Dolphin! A very WARM WELCOME to MASA! Thanks for joining MASA! Very glad that you found us!

Please keep us updated on your progress!

ALSO: Please read as MUCH as you can about keeping marines.....
YOU NEED A LOT OF PATIENCE!

BUT - it seems that you have that already sorted!

What skimmer and lighting, as well as internal pumps/substrate/live rock do you have at this stage?

I hope that you have not added any life stock as yet?

Dolphin, what about your tank perams, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate, ph etc? all very important before adding precious livestock.

Dolphin - just a quick heads-up: YOU CANNOT KEEP SEAHORSES WITH OTHER FISH. They require their own species tank. WITH VERY LOW WATER FLOW, and a LOT of critters/pods to feed on!

On the other fish - WOW! VERY DECENT.... VERY SCARCE!

Where will you be getting a chevron tang? A fellow reefkeeper here in Cape Town (Puppy) lost his chevron, and is looking for another one..... Could you perhaps find out if your source can get more?

thanks for the heads up... i've researched the reidii species and the pair i've got coming are quite large... almost 30cm. the species is considered very hardy and i want to give it a try... if they become unhappy i'll setup another smaller tank just for them. they're also tank bred which is a bonus and makes for easier feeding and care.

i'll ask about the chevron but i know its a mission to get. mine was ordered in july for me and it cost R1800
