    Hi, I am Dean.

New to marine tanks and fish. Just got a nano tank to start with and find out all about the hobby I can, plus to see if it grads me with both hand.

Just finished setting it up. Water and sand is in and the tank is running.

Well look forward to meeting new people and getting all the help that I can from the website.

    All the best regards,

    Dean

Welcome to MASA Dean, hope you enjoy your stay with us.

Did you use reverse osmosis water to start up? I sure hope so as tap water have bad chemicals and other nasty stuff and will give you endless problems later on.
    What nano is it?
Do you have live rock in as well?
    Got test kits?

Sorry for all the questions, but we need to know these things to be able to assist you fully :)

o ja, and please wait the full cycle of 6-8 weeks (with live rock) before adding any fish or invertebrates (snail, stars, shrimp, etc) in the tank ;)

Thank you all for the great welcome to the site.
I got a small 45L nano tank to start with. I have been told that it takes a dedicated person to keep it a health nano tank. I am up for the challenge and looking forward to keeping Marine fish. I got live water from the pet shop to start the take off. Set it up yesterday and added some 2 KG of live rock today. All of your help will be and is greatly appreciated. Now I think it is gust the big wait to see the tank settle down.
Again that to all and look forward to making and meeting new people.
    Regards
    Dean
