    Hi all,

My names Branden I'm new to this forum stuff and also a beginner to marine aquariums. I used to be into tropical tanks. I look forward to learning from everyone on this forum and getting to know you all.

I have one question so thus far- is it possible to upload photos via my I-phone? I tried to upload my tank but the selection buttons are greyed out and it mentions only upload from pc? Is there a way around this?

    Cheers Branden

    Hi Branden, Welcome to MASA
Did a quick test on my Iphone 4S, and it appears that you can upload pics with your Iphone the same way a on your PC

Just select the paperclip next to the smiley face in the reply box.
    Select the "choose file" button
It will then ask if you want to take a picture or use existing one
If you choose "existing"it will open your camera roll, choose your photo.
It will add a thumbnail to the upload list.
    Select upload
When done, can close that window, this will return you to your original message window
Below the message window, you will see your image.
Make sure to add some text in your post, and do not try to only post a pic...
    Hope this helps..
On such small screen, you will find it easier to zoom in and out...

Or just use tapatalk... Makes posting pics a breeze...

    Hi All,

I must apologize for not replying to all your helpful replies and comments.

Had to take a break from the good life and my tank setup conquest but all is back on track now and in fact my tank was setup 4 weeks or so ago, finally! The start up was quite a learning curve but I'm sure in time with the help of you guys and gals all will be fine with this new challenging hobby :)

I have one small concern? After 4 weeks I'm starting to see green algae forming on some LR and on the surface of the aragonite gravel. One thing I noticed was that when my live rock was delivered in to batches, first 30kg then 15kg a week later, the second batch, a few rocks had allot of algae on already.

I guess my question is how can I get rid of this before it gets out of control? From day one I have covered the tank with a blanket from direct sun light that shines from my skylight during the day.

    Cheers
