HELLO cat, congrats on that first marine tank :) so exciting to get it fired up and cycling.

    what tank did you get?

what size is it, what equipment and does it have a sump? The type of equipment (tank size included) will detirmine to a large degree what fish you can keep in there, and which corals too :)

have a good read through the beginners discussions, many of the same issues are discussed there and you will learn alot. Also post all yo0ur questions on here, regardless of how silly they may sound, we have all had the same things to learn and MASA loves to help and make it easier.

welcome to masa and happy postings:)

Welcome to MASA, hope you like it here. Please read the link in my signature for some great beginner info on how to start your first tank. Be patient, let the cycle run it's coarse (6 - 8 weeks) and when the water tests fine and stays stable, then you add your first livestock. Also ask here before buying anything else - it could save you a couple of bucks.
Can you post some pics for us about the tank and the sump? :wave2:

A warm welcome!! You have come to the right place.

Firstly you will notice that it's not as simple by just bying a tank and adding fish!! Alot of research needs to be done.

Please give us more details about your tank. How big is it?

You will also come to learn that the people on this forum is PICTURE crazy!!!

So please give us what we want and post some pics!
