    Hi all,

I am new to the site.

I have been in the hobby for 9 month now. Let me give some spec.
300l tank with 50l sump fed by a siphon overflow
DNW 150 Reef Octopus skimmer rated for 800l fed plumed to the overflow
Sump has a DSB with 2000lhp pump return to tank and 2000lhp return to tank via Reef Octopus phosphate reactor
    Helia Chillier
    4X T5 bulbs and 1x MH 150w bulbs 50/50 10000K and Actinic

    Water parameters
    Ammonia 0
    Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0 ( 20ppm before addition of DSB)
Phosphates .03 ppm ( 1ppm before addition of DSB)
    Temp 25-26 C
    Kh 8
    Calcium 410ppm
    PH 8.4

    Housemates

5 Hermit crabs ( 3 purchased 2 born in the tank)
    6 Snails
    2 anemones
    2 Torch Corals
    2 Elephant ear mushrooms
    2 Tube anemones
    3 Clownfish Perculas
    1 Green star polyps
    1 Regal Tang
    1 Copper Band Butterfly
    Some mushrooms

All the housemates look 100000% better than they did in the LSF.

Other interests include reading and and 4X4 get aways.

    Some pics.

Pics of the sump are difficult to take due to space as it is a mod from fresh water. Sump is under the tank with 3 compartments 60X40X50 (give or take 5cm)

    1 - Feed from skimmer
2- 25 cm aragonite DSB with plants growing in it with lights on 24/7
    3 - Return to tank

The CCB eats mysis and clams at feeding time. Spends the rest of the day picking at rocks for critters.

It's a boxer shrimp, they do that, it won't do any lasting harm.

Thanks guys. It is only as a result of many hours of research and work and no longer doing impulse buys. I actually buy my dry goods online to aviod the LFS.

I dont want to add anything at the moment other than the two fellas in the QT as I am busy with what I call " operation water management" working out how I can keep all my paramaters stable on a long run.
