    Hey guys n gals,
    Just wanted to say "hi". Been really interested in marines for a while now and finally decided that I want to setup one up for myself. have a few friends in the hobby but they have different and conflicting opinions so I searched the WWW and came across you guys. Hope to find some helpful info.

    Ideal tank size for a noob, hardware required, cycle period etc etc...

    those are all based on budget available
    but i would go for a tank between 150-200L, a 55g breeder i think its called in USA.
    i would look at visiting Manhattan Aquariums if they are close by you there, depends on where in NY you are, or contact BRS Bulk Aquarium Supplies - Reef Aquarium Supplies | BulkReefSupply.com since out local sponsors wont be able to help

    Thanks Dallas, I am familiar with those stores but no longer living in the US altho from there. Re-located to SA 2 months back. Which store would you recommend locally? I'm currently settled in Houghton i think it's spelt?

    very cool, close to me, we can hook up and chat reef sometime

    i would go past wild on pets, they have a great startup kit there, nano cube with all the bells
