If I were to make a not so educated guess, I'd say Favia or Favites.

Acanthastrea Lord Howensis (sp) Loves light. But yours still looks a little anemic. So maybe not to much light too quickly. Place him on the sand and even partly shaded. A beautiful coral and very tolerant.

I would go with Acan or Blasto, stunning coral.

Got this from a guy that sold his setup, he didn't know what the corals name is?
He had him under t5's, didn't look that good in his tank.
Yip i placed him directly on sand.
What is this now?
-Caulastrea
-favia veroni
-Acanthastrea Lord Howensis (sp)
Got him for R100, it sounded to me like a bargin

This guy has many different morphs. Some of the rarer finds can sell for $15 per polyp on the American market. A 100 bucks is the deal of the century

Very difficult to sometimes tell the difference often can only be identified by the skeleton...... now we dont want to have to go that route, but for 100 bucks its a bargain, i would offer you triple that for that piece.

YES first time that i struck gold:jiggy:

o.k this mean that this coral needs alot of light and alot of current.
Is this a LPS?
And how fast do they grow?

Providing you acclimatise properly this beauty can handle fairly intense lighting.
Current once again it will adapt, however if the current is to harsh he will remain withdrawn. Growth, if happy slow to medium. But if like this one, neglected they stagnate for months and the begin to recede.
