Depends how old the unit is.

LG spares work on a sliding scale. The older the unit the more expensive the spares.

Example: replacement remote for a rand new LCD TV - R 250.00, remote for their Plasma that we sold 5 years ago R 1,100.00?????

My personal feeling (depending on the age) is to replace plasma with LCD as plasma has a limited life span - generally 20000 hours compared to LCD's 100-200K

I would say the prices are pretty good but the the brands :whistling:

Joking, I am a Sony fan, so generally Samsung is our nemesis.

sheesh 1100 for a damn remote.well guess gotta save while the plasma is still working and change for an LCD.
the problem is the kid sits and watches on the plasma the whole damn day and he refuses to watch on the bedroom TV.brat
