Hey all, I've worked my way up the whole fish cycle starting with goldfish, tropical, chiclids and now finally I discovered thee BEST!! I've been in Marine aquariums now for bout 5 years worked at Exotic pets & aquariums... So finally I decided to join a Forum:thumbup: (about time)! I have a very successful 600l reef tank been running for about 2 year now really looking to go into sps's soon ,but a little concerned that I don't really have much coralline algae growing and I'm increasing my calcium levels and still no results:nono: running a 100l sump with a deep sand bed ,2 large skimmers ,2 150w metal halides + 4 t5's and yeah that's actually bout it and have has been VERY successful so far nitrates running on 0... So any advice on how to get some coralline algae? or could I get me a monti or two to start of with?:) [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Hey all I've worked my way up the whole fish cycle starting at goldfish ,tropical , cichlids ,and now finally I've discovered the BEST!!:p So I've been in marine tanks now for round bout 5 years now and worked some time at Exotic pets & aquariums... I'm currently running a very successful 600l reef tank for about 2 years now been having no problems at all ,but I have noticed the tank doesn't really have much coralline algae growing and I'm looking at going into sps's soon... tried raising my calcium levels but still no result? Any advice on how to grow some or could I just get me a monti or two to start off with? I'm currently running 2 150w metal halides + 4 t5's ,2 large skimmers ,100l sump with a big DSB and yeah that bout it...:)

Thanks guys appreciate... but now im sitting with that difficult decision to make between dosing pump's or calcium reactor? I read from 500l and up a calcium reactor is recommended? Gonna let my water be tested this weekend...
