    Hi people i'm nazeem could someone please advise me as to what pump i should use for my 300l freshwater tank.:wave2:

    The pump size is dependant on the application, where are you sending the water to (ie.filtration equipment? Or flow or simply return to tank).

    Many variables.

    What is the application and assistance could be provided accordingly

    ask at LFS for a pump like this or the same

    If in marine application I dissagree. You only want 3-5 times turnover to maximise water contact with the DSB if applicable and for the skimmer to be more effective at removing waste ;)

    Hi and welcome to MASA

    I have to agree with Tobes. Bigger is not always better even in A FW tank. Your flow must not be too fast because you don't want the water rushing past the filter media, If that happens then your water is not going to be filtered.
