Will it re-grow when it molts the next time?
Was in a fight with another about his shell. Gave the other another shell and now all OK.

A Beautiful place!
Most crustaceans regenerate complete missing arms and legs within a few months. It won't be back completely after the next molt. Good feeding and enough iodine is all it takes to ensure successful molts (ecdysis).

What I find amazing is how quickly they re-generate, almost over night, it doesn't have to grow, one shed and it's back.

Depends when he looses the limb. If he looses it right before molting it won't be back, maybe with the next one. One molt every 2 months is a reasonably good activity.
