hermit being bullied

Hi people
I have two hermit crabs but only one is being bullied by my clowns. The clowns keep head butting him and toss him down when his on rocks, its only 1 hermit that's being attacked the other hermit is the same size but no harm to him they look at him but don't bother bullying him...any ideas why only this hermit is being bullied and any suggestions before I take him to the lfs to trade him or something?
 
Are both hermits the same species?

Do they have different shells?

Did the clown lay eggs and the hermit is trying to get to the eggs?

Yes both are same species
Their shells are abit different one has fine smooth shell the other is abit more rougher but both the same size
The clowns did not lay eggs.

that is a blue eyed hermit.

Clowns can kill it, when it moult. So it does need place to get away at times.
 
nope, any hermit. Move that hermit to the sump for a few days maybe.
