So after 5 year's my Jebo was decommissioned and time for an upgrade. I bought a 1.8m tank from @RayZor007 here on MASA. Thanks Raymond for the awesome tank.

So when I bought the Jebo we had one Saturday to break it down, move it and put it back up. This time around I took my time in planning and not rushing anything.
The sump that came with the tank was just to small. So I opted for a 1.2 meter sump that I had.

Tank getting its first water. I used 400L of new sea water and 300L of established sea water that I got from @madmatt with his live rock and flowbin.

Tank has been up and running for three weeks now. Added some fish that I got from @herman2016. Some Barred Flagtail fish that I caught in March while on holiday. Did a rough scap. Some of the rock will come out later. I did not use my water. My fish got a bad case of whitespot just before the move. So I removed them from the tank and added the to copper. They are looking healthy but still in quarantine and my LR and corals are also in quarantine with no fish.

More updates soon.

Looks awesome and its an honor working with you on this tank and learning all the way.

happy days

tank looks good.

Just be careful with the butterfly and some corals that might end up as food

Any chance you can share the other dimensions for the sump please?

Very nice looking tank :cheers2:

Hi Everyone.

So after a year of ups and downs my tank is finally stable and ready so I could start adding in corals. So here is some new photos of the tank.

Not a butterfly but a Yellow Tail Angel if I am not mistaken.
Still need to keep an eye on him, once he gets a taste for your LPS they wont stand a chance.
If you keep him fed on sponge based diet he should leave your corals alone

He is been in my tank for 6 months. He eats flakes, pellets, nori and frozens. Has not touched my LPS. It is unfortunately an hit and miss with Angels.
Add some food specific for Angels in his diet, generally made from sponges, chances are high that he will leave your corals if he is getting a good dose of his more "natural" food

Tank is looking really good though

yip, caught me out.

Although SPS could still be on the menu for him. I have a Navarchus angel, and no issues with corals. Then again I also do not gave any SPS corals.
