I will be looking after a construction project in the Natal Midlands for the next 5-6 months, and will be based near Nottingham Road. Although I will be commuting to Bloemfontein whenever I get the chance, that will not be all that often, and I will have to spend some weekends at my new place. My long suffering wife will stay in Bloem to look after my tank, and the cats, and the dogs, and the kids, and the garden, and...

So, this gives me a good opportunity to meet some of you KZN fellows, perhaps attend one or two of your meetings, do some fishing (who's inviting ???), perhaps join you guys on a collection trip, and just generally get to know the Last Outpost of the British Empire a bit better.

Awesome place, and not as hot as here by us. You'll love the "funny" beers and different cheeses etc etc etc. Quite a different place from the usual "South Africa look"

    Search here: Natal Midlands

You have to make a turn here:

The African Bird of Prey Sanctuary in Natal Midlands, KwaZulu Natal

WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT THEM???

    What meetings :whistling:

RBay is not too close to the Midlands, but you more than welcome to come and stay here for a weekend- you can use Viper's old room  :whistling:

Hey Sean. First time ever, I got a monster of a Mackeral from the surf on shad fillet man. Was almost the size of a Bonnie.

I heard about these Mackerels coming out. A friend of mine caught one about 400mm long. He sent me the photos.

The one I caught was about that size, or maybe even bigger. Will take a pic and show you.
