I have been enriching my fish food with a vit B complex, called Hepatis Extraction, and one thing I have noticed, is that the juvies in the DT, have all of a sudden started changing their colours, in a matter of days!!!! I believe this is only from the food that has been super enriched.

Herewith a breakdown of the vitamins composition (per 1ml)

    Vit B1 10mg
    Vit B2 4mg
    Vit B6 4mg
Nicotinamide 25mg (I think this is vit B3)
    Calcium pantothenate 5mg
Liver extract 50 mg (I think this is the B12)
Methylparaben 0.1%mg (this is the prservative).

You get this from the vets, but I don't know if you will be lucky to get it from them (they wont believe you when you say you want it for fish).

I got 1ml for R48 (including syringe and spare needles), but I think if you buy a bottle it will work out much cheaper, and just keep it in the fridge.

I take the food and put it in my feeding cup, defrost it if frozen, then add 0.05ml to the food, mix it all with the back of a teaspoon, and then feed.

But litrally in a matter of days, the dorsal on my emp has started going white, the yellow sugeon has gone a pinky grey and has the most amazing white spots on the body (hopefully we will know for sure what it is soon), my formosa has gone almost black, and the red coris is almost looking like the formosa did:yeahdude:.

I believe for all the juvies in my tank to of started changing colour all of a sudden all at once, it can only come from this vitB enrichment.

i definatkley agree that the enriched food helps the fish through this process, its a huge strain on theyr little bodies and taking into consideration that human error can so easily sway things the wrong way or an essential water parameter over looked, vitimins are the way to go..
