    Hi everyone,

I have now had my tank for about 3 months. Despite fo the initial panic about not having let it cycle - which after disucssing with Bryn I realised was okay as I literally bought the shop's tank - I am really enjoying the experience but seem to be having to spend an inordinate amount of time just trying to keep everything balanced.

What I was wondering was if there is anyone or a business/service that I can pay to come and help me with my tank for a bit to make sure I am doign everything correctly and get it on an even keel? While I appreciate advice and that i hould do it on my own, I am finidng the time managment quite difficult and would really appreciate some hands on help.

    Thanks in advance.

    Carl

Welcome to masa carl nice to have you join.

Taking over a system thats already running can be a difficult thing to do, and often Ive found the one over compensates on one aspect and over ballances another. fairly often all a tank needs is time to ballance itself.

But getting in external help is a very good idea, and i realy reccomend going to another few reefers close to you and asking to see their tanks. I did this alot when I started out and it realy realy helped me learn and gather confidence in my own understanding quickly.
