    Hi All

I've just setup my new 4 foot and am having a problem. The tank has an overflow which flows into the sump , past the skimmer, the DSB and is pullled out by a Cannister which pumps thru a chiller and back into the tank. So heres the problem... When the power goes out the water from the tank is syphoned back to the cannister causing it to overflow. I've read about drilling a hole somewhere in the plumbing but I'm not sure how this is done. Please help.

    Hi

Where the water comes into the main tank, just drill a small hole JUST below the waterline. So when the water in display tank drops the air coming into the hole u drilled breaks the syphon
