Hi Guys and Girls.

I need some serious help with placement of my wavemakers in my display tank . Hope you can help.

First of all Dimensions of tank 1900 (l) X 1000 (w) X 450 (h).

I have quite a selection of pumps to choose frm: 2 X Tunze Nanostream 6095, 1 X Vortech WP40, 2 X Jeboa Eco RW 15 and a few others, but I want to use so or all of the above.

Currently my sump return is running at about 5000 - 6000 l per hour.

Any ideas?

I'll try and do a sketch of current layout.

This is basically the layout of my scaping in regards to the tank.

@mariusmeyer I'll upload a video, then you can basically see the layout

What type of waterflow is considered to be the best, random or a more synched type of flow?

Nobody with some good advice or direction on this issue?

very hard to say which combination will work. Best thing is to experiment with different pumps and combinations until you get a flow that the corals and you are happy with

Random flow and try eliminate all dead spots (Behind LR and inside rock formations). You are trying to imitate the ocean so as mentioned above, experiment.

Thanks guys, just difficult to really determine dead spots.

@CameL thanks man, really appreciate it after all the effort and stress that went into the move. Just waiting for the next couple of weeks to go by without major hassles, then I'll be more relaxed.
