    Hi Guys

I have 2 Tunze 6095 streams on a 7096 controller. What is the best placement and program to run them on?

My tank is 1.2mX 600mm x 500mm. The reef runs right across the middle of the tank. I have some LPS and softies. Only one Hammer Coral which could be blown away. Lol!!!

    Thanking you in advance

    Merlin

Depends on your rock work, and direction you point the powerheads. I cannot say what would be optimal.

I think both pumps in the back corner, pointed to the middle front could work. Although that might end up with bare patch without substrate in the center front.

Thanks for the response bud. This is my scaping at the moment. Pumps will be on the opposite sides of tank as seen in this picture. I might also be going minimalist look soon where I'll have two islands on the sides with open centre.
I have with the help of George at Tunze (Thanks George for your help.) Set my pumps to 70/30 and 30/70 to start off with to see what it does.
Furthermore, this is still a learning curve so i opem to other suggestions as well..

With the 7096 controller your options are almost endless and in the end it all depends on the livestock. With your current scape and coral placement I would move the left one 2/3rds towards the back on the same height as you have it now and angle it towards the front right corner maybe about 2/3rds from the back or about where the pumps in the right is. That will give you some flow coming from the right and ending in gentle flow for the kenya tree and open brains on the right. If the nennie has too litle flow with this angle, change it to be close to the nennie which will give some extra flow to the pin cusion at the back.

Then the right hand pump I would leave in its current position facing left which will cause nice turulent flow in the middle where the streams will collide and end in a gentle flow on the left for the open brains.

With this settings you will most likely need to go to 30/100 but try it on the 30/70 and see how it goes.
