Help with my Clam!

    hi guys,

    i've moved house , and been keeping my LS in my quarantine tank for about a week now with no lights.

    Over the weekend I found the heater unplugged and my wrassie never made it :(

    I noticed that my clam has been open for most of the day. I've connected the lights this evening hoping that it mite extend itself, and nothing yet

    Species : Squamosa

    How do you tell if its alive ? Should i separate it from the rest of my LS

    usually giving it a good sniff is a good test that works with snails, dnno bout clams, where u moved to?

    Post a pic if you can. and is it responding to any movement close to it.

    It smells ok, I moved to kuilsriver. This move has taken a hit on my ls :(

    Yes, very slow if I were to push it close

    I'll upload one this evening

    looks like it may be separating from the shell, if thats the case its a goner AFAIK.

    That Clam is dead...clams rarely smell bad unless the water they in went bad ...
