    I was wondering .
I am thinking of putting 20W t5 lights for the Moon blue and pink instead of 54W tubes.
Are the Blue and Pink lights only for the looks of the tank or do they provide anything important to the corals and other organisms .

    Thanks

Blue is important. It is the spectrum that reach the deepest. So yes corals are used to it.

Too much blue is not good either for SPS or other corals that is used to shallow water.
