help with lighting

    hi everyone i need help with lighting for reef tank. the tank is a bow front. front length is 1,2m, height is 600cm. what is enough lighting and where can i get units to fit this odd shape tank .currently have a t5 blue light on the longest length and a unit which houses 3 t5's in there are 2 white and 1 blue what do i need more or changed

    Have you got a pic of the hood? And what's the current wattage of the T5s and the length? You also need to ask yourself what do you want to keep in the tank and that question everybody seems to hate, how much do you want to spend? :)

    I reckon 4 or 6 T5's will do fine, or 2 x 150w MH's if you want some serious lighting for an anemone and some SPS corals.

    Single 150w halide pendants will work nice on your bowfront.
