Hi guys, can someone please give me an estimate of how many snail, hermits , and shrimp you need per gallon/ liter for a reef tank?

Must you wait for tank to cycle before adding them?

Where in joburg can I get the scarlet hermit crab?
    Many thanks

Obvious, you cannot add them all in one go. Vegetarian snails need algae. Detritus eating snails and worms needs rubbish lying around.

Can start with a few while cycling. But note that too high ammonia will kill your snails. So best to wait it out until parameters are acceptable.

In Gauteng, the snails and hermits is too expensive to add 50 for example. But next time you go on holiday... get your permit sorted and collect yourself.
