guys my maid ovbiously cleaned near the 12v transformer where my alarm wires go into and get plugged into the wall, so now i have some wires that have come out and im stumped as to what wire goes where

    the sticker says

    AC (earth symbol) AC

my question is what colours go to which port?

Hey there bud ... Hope you didn't plug it in as yet ..... Firstly need to find the main control panel (should be a metal/plastic enclosure hidden away where all your wiring comes ... kinda like the db board has all the electrical cables ... The enclosure will be either closed with screws or a lock (hope you have the key) ...Once opened on the main panel will be 2 terminals marked "AC" .... Need to check what colours are on those terminals ... same colours go on the transformer "AC" chocolate block connector ... Then there should be a "ground" or earth terminal on the panel ... this would be your earth slot on the transformer ... On the "AC" side doesn't matter whether which side of screws you use as it usually 16V alternating current ... Just don't mix the earth and any of the AC wires .... Hope this helps ... If not a pic of the main control panel will help .... or make and model ... PS ... the terminals for bringing the 16VAC into a main panel are usually situating on the extreme left or extreme right of all terminals (make and model dependent) and should have like a mini transformer just above these terminal to feed a charging module for the battery ... Hopes this helps ... Sorry can't suggest what colours go where as each company has their own colour coding and sometimes depends what mood the technician is in .... but in a nutshell we have to match what corresponding colours on the panels "AC" terminals to the transformers "AC" screws

Agree with Chika, you need to check on the control panel, colours will depend on the technician mode of the day, usually 2 paired, and earth, just make the same colours and use the ac and ac.

mmm looks likes an IDS panel ... so extreme left hand side of panel ... first 2 screws ..... Should be red+black going to first terminal and second one looks like purple+brown ...... So on the transformer side these two pairs will go to "AC" and "AC" and lastly looks like green+yellow goes in the centre connector on the transformer .....
