Are you sure it's aptasia. Picture not clear. If it is, i have had good experience with red sea aptasia-x. But nudibranch snails is the only real cure

Aptasia X always works for me and never affects anything else in my tank

I made a thick Kalkwasse Paste and sucked it into a Dropper...then I blob the Aiptasia and walla...it just melts..I've stopped the injection as I find I'm not experienced enough to zap them 100% in the mouth or stem...somehow they still manage to dispurse their "eggs"..but not with the "blobbing"..

You looking for trouble by blowtorching aptasia & deffinitly not going to help... It can make you sick if you inhale the fumes believe me I've been there...

Rather get yourself an aptasia eating filefish or use aptaisia x...

50/50 kalk and caustic soda paste in a syringe works really well. Just be super careful with the caustic soda.

    Agree with @Lord_Blackadder

I have also had success with vol 10 Hydrogen peroxide used in a syringe. ZOA can normally handle any excess spillage.

    Method
Fill up a 5ml / 10ml syringe with Hydrogen Peroxide bought from your local pharmacy. Position yourself so that you can jab the unsuspecting aiptasia down to its foot and begin injecting immediately. Continue injecting whilst withdrawing the needle from the Aiptasia.

it should froth and bubble and let it do its magic for about 10 seconds and then just with your hand wave some flow around to remove excess peroxide.

Alternatively, invest in a file fish or if your tank is small enough an army of peppermint shrimps or similar natural predators.

When i find them in between my zoas i dont use aptaisia x as i have seen effecting my zoas in a bad way. I use 1ml of vinigar instead. The spillage does not affect the zoas...but make sure you get yourself a thin enough (diabetic) needle to inject it right down to the foot
