    Hey guys.

    i need MAJOR help with my skimmer.. i have lost the "neck" and "cup".. so iv taken my berlin airlifter apart.. and trying to use it in the mean time.. will this help?

    So my questions are:
    *how long does it take for the bubbles to over flow
    * Will this actually work?
    *DOES anyone have a broked TS1? i'll take the cup off your hands

    Slummies...firstly...how do you lose a skimmer cup.....

    But seriously now, dont think it will really work. IMHO you would have to shorten the Berlin to get the same effect as the "tube" is now much longer. Skim very whet and see what happens

    Yip, I think you will need to cut the neck a lot shorter in order for it to work, spare cups are available though, I bought one for my TS3 from Dorry Pets.

    Rather just order a new cup than go and butcher another skimmer....

    Slummies - VERY interesting mod to your TS1, mate! ;)

    And YES - it SHOULD still work.....
    You just need to increase your water level a wee bit!

    It will take about 4 days to a week for the skimmer to start skimmer properly.......... Good luck mate!
