Hi All. Can someone help identify this specie of crab? I have a brand new system, but this crab seemed to be a hitch-hiker with the live rock that I bought with the system. Up till now, there hasn't been any fish or coral while the system went through its cycle, so I haven't been too concerned, but would like to know if its something that should be removed?

I would would move it to your sump as it may become a problem later when you have LS in the tank. I know it as a gorilla crab not something you want in your tank.

His system is new so yes sump it in the new system, in an old system he can leave him its small and may not be worth the effort to try and catch him but a new system it is easy to catch and sump, pull out rock and find him
