My leather has some kind of infection :dft004:, white blobs are appearing on random spots and wherever they appear, the polyps round them are dying and when i remove the blobs, its clear that the coral has been eaten away. ive dipped it twice but it keeps comming back, will post pics tomorrow, does anyone have any ideas of what it could be?:banghead:

Do they look a bit like bubbles under the coral tissue?

    nope

nope, its cream coloured spots that form ontop of the tissue and around it, all polyps are gone, when i remove the blob, its clear that tissue has been eaten away

Hi there yes it could be a worm, what i did was removed the leather and cut the chunk off where it was eaten away and found a black worm in side my leather,so pls check propley and what will help is a sixline wrasse, they chow those buggers also whatch out for pest snails they also chow on leathers and many corals, and a pair of manaquin shrimps will help as well

Ok, so i have to chop pieces of my leather off to find the bugger? i have had a six line wrasase for about 2 months now...wouldnt it have eaten the worm? there are about 12 different spots where the blobs have turned up on different arms :( i am really worried about loosing this coral.
