You would be killing a lot of beneficial bacteria that way.
Rather buy a small bottle of Aiptasia-X and follow the directions included to get rid of them.

Or vinegar them. Inject brown vinegar in the mouth. If too many, rather Aiptasia-x

is the aptaisa spread on all your rock or just one piece? is it a new tank that you have just started cycling?

Hey bud ... Get a copperband .... Rather get a fish you can at least look at it than some product .... Just when you go buy one ask for them to put a rock with aptasia in the tank and see if he chows it ... Apparently not all eat aptasia

Alternatively, buy a blowtorch, not expensive>hardware store, remove rocks and burn the bastards. It is a surefire way and not much damage will be done to interior of rocks microbiota.

The other products do work, but doing it in-tank not really the best solution if LR can be moved out of system.

    If you l
If you have not yet put it in your tank take it back to your LFS and ask for a refund if your successful buy your LR elsewhere after thoroughly inspecting it.

Or else the blow torch is a good bet - (I use a 1.4W laser)

there is not realy FS in our area that deals with Marine the closest is in the city JHB so when ever i go there i will get some copperband or aptasia-x. the FS around here i think gets unwanted stock or gets some stuff from somebody that gets rid of his aqua and then sell it again to us....

The aiptasia spores will travel from your sump to your display. infecting the complete system anyway.
Rather kill them as soon as possible.
