    Hi,

These two fish were passed on to me from a friend.

When he bought them from the LFS a couple of months ago, they were not sure what fish these were and guessed that they were from the Damsel family.:whistling:

I am not so sure that this is true ......

When I feed them, they prefer meaty foods.

    They are about 35mm long.

The always swim closely together and have teamed up with my Foxface to form a nice closeknit school, always flanking him.:)

Hope someone has an idea. I tried searching the Net but could not find anything.

    Cheers

    They are indeed.
Very nippy, but rather pleasant fish in the tank

those are very pretty fish, they look like little tigers.
your foxface looks a bit on the thin side, do you feed him nori or not?

    Hi Lanzo,

He is a new occupant ... only in there for about three weeks. Yes I feed him Nori. He picked up a bit of weight though - looked really shabby when I got him.

    Thanks for the advice anyway.

Stunning fish, I have had a good look through a few websites but I haven't seen anything that resembles them.

Hi all - PCH - you have two youngster "golden trevallies". A ferocious hunter in the sea. Part of the predator family.

These guys become HUGE.... AND yes - they actually prefer MEATY (live) foods. BUT, any meaty foods will do. Especially fishy meaty foods....

Arent they also known as Golden Kingfish? You often see the juveniles on tv forming shoals around large predetars.

Thanx 459b, I'll keep you in mind. Currently they are of the smaller fish in the tank, so time will tell as to how long their stay with me will be :whistling:
